 A new mom herself, Mariam LOVES Milksta®️ coffee & tea - it has quickly become one of her go-to’s for lactation support! Mariam is a seasoned fitness instructor who has been teaching group classes and personal training for over 15 years. She is passionate about yoga, movement, and connection, and is excited to offer this free virtual postnatal yoga class to fellow Milksta®️ moms on Sunday, October 4th.

Welcoming my little one into the world has been the most incredible experience. As I navigate through motherhood and my own postpartum journey, I recognize that we all have a different story and each of our stories are unique, important, and amazing. The road ahead is full of heartwarming moments, with tears of joy as well as tears of frustration and exhaustion. I want my fellow mamas to know that they are not alone! We are all in this together. My hope is that we as new mamas can connect in this virtual space and provide each other support and love in this incredible journey.

Postnatal Yoga

This postnatal yoga class is designed to help support the body in recovery from pregnancy and birth. It is meant to help heal the body and mind, while building strength to support us as we care for and carry our little ones.

This class is suitable for any new mama 6 weeks postpartum (after doctor’s approval) and any time afterwards.

Postnatal yoga has so many wonderful benefits, including:

  • releasing pressure from the nervous system

  • strengthening the spine and reconnecting with core muscles

  • minimizing effects of holding, carrying, and feeding our babies by releasing stress from shoulders and neck

  • improving posture

  • reducing overall stress and anxiety

  • helping with rest and giving us time to relax and attend to ourselves
